Lot a Writing, Lot a Problems

I'm about 20 pages in, halfway through my second act on the pilot. It's been pretty easy because my treatment is so detailed but I'm just concerned about the quality of the thing. I think the main character doesn't have enough of a goal to make her conflicts engaging. I also think the show just isn't that funny right now. I mean I think there is potential, a lot more than I originally thought considering the subject matter, but the jokes need a bunch of work. Lastly, I hope it's just interesting to watch overall. Maybe there's not enough going on in the script, I don't think people will care too much about the antagonist's problems because it doesn't really threaten the protaganist. I want my character to have to deal with this person otherwise it'll be the end of her.
